
Last night our neighborhood was thick with kids dressed as gumball machines, jellyfish, mermaids, crayons, and super heroes… there was even a spider queen; parents too went all out. One mother completely rocked it as the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (no it wasn’t me in case you’re wondering)!
But this morning,except for loads of store-bought spider webs covering bushes, there were few signs left that Halloween had once again come and gone. The one night of the year that most of us accept it’s okay to put on a costume and see what it feels like to be someone or something other than ourselves.
